U2 Offers Chicago Another Chance

Today holds good news for music fans. Coldplay, Tool and the Beastie Boys will be headlining the second annual All Points West Music & Arts Festival in New Jersey late this summer. Even better news is that U2 has added more tour dates to their North American 360-Degrees tour.

The festival will be held at New Jersey's Liberty State Park from July 31st - August 2nd.

Here is the full three day lineup of bands:

All Points West Festival producers promise an amazing experience, as well as a better format than last year's festival. The producers are offering those traveling the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail line free rides all weekend with their All Points West ticket. The size and frequency of ferryboats from Manhattan to Liberty State park will increase and will be offered at reduced price to festival-goers. Additionally, the beer gardens will be expanded, offering shorter lines, feature shade tents and views of the stages and food concessions.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 3rd at 12 Noon on Ticketmaster. Single day tickets are $89 and three day passes are $199 for a limited time.

Extra U2 Tickets?

U2 fans expressed their frustrations this morning when tickets for the band's concert at Chicago's Soldier Field on September 12th sold out instantly this morning. If you were one of those angry and disappointed hopefuls, fear not. Another concert is being added to the roster at Soldier's Field on September 13th. Be prepared for your second chance as tickets go on sale at 10 AM on Monday, April 6th at Live Nation, Ticketmaster and (800) 745-3000. Tickets will be priced at $252, $97, $57 and $32, plus service charges.

Besides the Chicago addition, the band has added additional dates to the tour, including Sept. 29 in Washington, D.C.; Oct. 1 in Charlottesville, Va.; Oct. 6 in Atlanta; Oct. 9 in Tampa; Oct. 25 in Los Angeles; and Oct. 28 in Vancouver.
