Colin Farrell Gets Rejected by Meghan Lowther

You know what a big hit is it to your ego when you get rejected. Well, even celebrities sometimes get a hit to their ego. Even celebrities sometimes get turned down when hitting on girl. According to Holly Scoop, Colin Farrell was rejected by model Meghan Lowther when he hit on her the other night at the Rose Bar in Gramercy Park Hotel because she was there with her boyfriend. So that proves it celebrities aren't perfect; they don't get everything they want. This shouldn't be a huge surprise to us; we should all realize that celebrities are human, too. Just because it's Colin Farrell, a girl can't be expected to leave her boyfriend.

So what's a guy to do these days? Whether you are Colin Farrell or just a everyday typical guy, here are some tips you should think about when you are hitting on a girl in a bar.

1. OK, guys. This one is important! Don't hit on a girl if she is there with her boyfriend. I don't care how special you are. If a girl is there with her boyfriend, you are almost guaranteeing a rejection. I know there is always that chance that she could be more impressed with you. But you don't want to be "that guy." Besides even if a girl is ready to drop her boyfriend for you, just think how willing she will be to drop you for the next guy.

2. Don't use a cheesy pick-up line. This is another easy one. No girl wants to think you are just trying to pick up any girl you can find, and that's exactly what a cheesy pick-up line tells her. If you are really attracted to a girl, show your genuine interest her. I promise you if you go and talk to her genuinely rather then using a cheesy line, you will have a much better chance of success.

3. Don't be cocky. I'm not suggesting that you act intimated or shy, but please don't act overly cocky. One of the biggest turn-offs for girls if a cocky guy. Self Confidence if good, extreme self confidence is a turn off. Know that you are human just like her. Acting real will get you much further with a girl.

4. Don't spend your whole time trying to ask her out. I know this seems to be the opposite of what you want. It can be very intimidating to a girl if you are bombarding her by just trying to get a date. If you try to get to her know, and get to find out more about her, you will increase your chance of success.

5. Don't be nervous. I know this is easier said then done. If you are nervous it will show, and it won't impress her. Just remember the worst thing that can happen is she turns you down. But just remember every guy as been there, even hotties like Colin Farrell.
