Collapse Free Android App Game Review

Amy Brantley
I've been playing video games since I was probably 6 years old. While I love a broad range of genres, puzzle games remain my favorite. When Amazon offered the Collapse App for free, I had to download it. After all, I absolutely love the game and even have it for my DS. Would this game be as fun or just a poor ripoff?

I'm happy to say that this app is even better than the video game I own for the DS. That's amazing considering that I was able to get this game for free. It's important to note that this app isn't always free. It actually costs $0.99 from the Amazon Appstore, but thanks to the App of the Day feature I was able to get it for free.

You have two options when playing the Collapse App. You can either choose the quest version or a quick game. I prefer the quick game version because I often use my cell phone as a way to keep me busy while waiting at the doctor's office or any other place where boredom sets in. In other words, I play games on my cell phone when I have a couple extra minutes to spare and this game is perfect for that. In the quick game mode, you simply work to clear the lines as they appear. The higher the level, the more lines to clear. As the levels go up, you will be given more special blocks to work with that will help you clear the lines faster or make it harder to clear the lines. In the quest mode, you're given a story line to make the game more interesting and it's a great option if you have more time to spare.

I give this game app 5 out 5 stars. Even at a price of $0.99 it's well worth downloading. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves to play puzzle games and is looking for a cheap way to keep busy. I especially recommend this game to anyone that loves Tetris, Bejeweled and similar puzzle games as it has a similar feel and is perfect for those that want a game that requires a bit of skill.
