What is Collars For A Cause?
The 2010 Collars For A Cause campaign is presented by GRUFFINS organic dog treats, K9's For Cops, and Digital Function. The goal is the collection of 229 creative and unique dog and cat collars including one-of-a-kind creations from artists, designers, and celebrities. The number 229 represents the number of dogs and cats euthanized daily in the greater Houston, TX area as a result of animal overpopulation. All donated collars will be featured in an on-line auction that will run throughout November and culminate on December 10th, 2010.

If you would like to see the items in person, make sure to attend the SNAPshots event where the collars will be displayed. The highest bidder online will win the item at the close of the auction, making it possible for you to win your dream collar whether you are in Houston, TX or not. Many of the collars will also be on display during the SNAPshots Celebration, along with a bidding station where attendees can go online and bid live at the event.

SNAPshots Celebration and Fashion Show
The SNAPshots Celebration and Fashion Show will feature the designs of David Peck, Elaine Turner, Muse Boutique, 310 Rosemont and artist Sonya Gracia. More than 500 supporters of SNAP will gather for an exclusive Élan Raichle Rogers produced fashion show: The Elements Of Fashion.

There will be so many exciting things including a fabulous silent auction, Tito's Vodka, Beer and Wine, delicious food by Catering by George, VIP lounges with "backstage" access, photo booths, and more.
