Campbell's Labels for Education (CLFE) is a program that has been awarding free education equipment to schools for over 30 years. The school community, friends and family members work together to collect proof of purchases (UPC codes) off participating Campbell's products. Depending on the product, each proof of purchase could be worth 1 - 5 points. When the school collects enough points, they are able to select free merchandise for their school through a special Campbell's Labels for Education catalog. This special catalog has items such as; computers and computer software, art supplies, musical instruments, library books, DVD's, classroom accessories and much more.
Campbell's Labels for Education does not just support schools, they also support a variety of different organizations. Other organizations they support are accredited home school associations, licensed childcare centers, public libraries, religious educational centers, and head start center. They also support any U.S. military installation - no matter the location. To see if your organization qualifies for this program you can enter your zip code at Find My School.
What Products Qualify?
Hundreds of products are eligible for the Campbell's Labels for Education program, some of them including, Franco American SpaghettiO's, Prego Pasta Sauces, Pepperidge Farm products, Market Day, V8 products, Pace salsa, Picante sauce, Swanson products and of course any product that bares the Campbell's name. You can check out the complete list of participating products by visiting All Eligible Products at the Campbell's website.
How Do I Get Started?
First, visit How to Clip Proofs for more information on how to clip the proofs of purchase off qualifying products.
Donate your Campbell's Proofs
You can still participate in the Campbell's Labels for Education program even if you do not have any children in school. Save your Campbell's proofs and donate them to your local school or save them up for a family member or friend. The schools and children will surely benefit from your time and effort of collecting them.
School Contest & Promotions
Many times schools will have contest or some other promotion to help encourage students and parents to be on the lookout and collect Campbell's proofs. Some ideas for these contests are:
Hold a bake sale - Have parents or students donate items for a bake sale and instead of paying for items in cash, customers will have to pay with proofs.
School Dance - If students wish to attend they will need to collect a certain amount of proofs to pay for their admission.
Classroom Party - Give a classroom party for the class who can collect the most amount of proofs in a set time frame.
Individual Prizes - I have also heard of schools giving out individual prizes to students who collect the most amounts of proofs. Prizes can be things like, homework passes, lunch with the principal at McDonald's, gift cards or other incentives.
