We have a local hobby shop that sells gas powered RC cars, truggies, buggies, and monster trucks. This is a fun hobby because these things go really fast.
My husband owns two cars. First one he had was an RC10GT Plus, and he loved it. This car could go about 50 miles an hour. This car is fast and very easily to fix as well.
The other car my husband own is a Savage 4.6 truck. This truck goes about 60 miles and hour in second gear.
These RC cars, some are gas powered and some are battery operated.
Our local hobby shop has an indoor track where you can go every Sunday and race your cars and win prizes even money.
I have to tell you they are expensive to buy, but once you buy one and you have one of your own you will not regret buying it at all. This is a good hobby to get into because you can buy and sell these cars for less or equal price.
Some people buy these cars to fix them up and sell them at a discount for people who cannot afford one brand new.
These cars are tanks. The Savage 4.6 takes nitro powered gas and has a remote control with it. The only things extra you need to buy for these cars are a fuel bottle, batteries, and extra glow plug, and gas. That is it and the cars already come assembled so you don't even have to put them together.
I tell you what I am glad my husband got into this hobby because it is really a cheap hobby to get into if you do not have a lot of money to invest in something. Plus it gives us something to do around where I live when there is nothing else to do here.
Another good thing about these cars is you can drive them in all sorts of weather. Snow, rain, and wind. Any kind of weather these cars will not stop. They will go and go and go.
It is a very interesting hobby to go into. My husband loves these trucks and cars and it is very cheap to keep them running as well. So if you are looking for a hobby to get into, this is the hobby for you if you like gas powered remote controlled cars and trucks and buggies. Very fun to play with.
