Collection of Halloween Poems Haiku Style

Costume Shopping Haiku

Halloween is near

The stores are stocked full of goods

The kids want costumes

Here, Party City

Has been the number one choice

Except for this year

Everyone has stress

Believe me I understand

But at work, hide it!

The children all want

To have their new costumes now

Try to understand

You may be busy

Have many people to serve

But do it and smile

I was disgusted

With the attitudes flying

Children are present

Left with empty hands

Disappointed kids in tow

I am furious

Down the road we ride

I see 'Twenty percent off'

Party-N-Dollar

Funny story there

I did meet my husband here

Eleven years past

The place had changed, but

Costumes we did find for them

Now they are happy

Bumblebee did win

Asian princess won out next

The discount was mine

We tried them all on

In the comfort of our home

"Cute!" is all I say!

Halloween Night Haiku

On Halloween night

Family we go to see

Dressed for the pictures

We will walk around

Say a little 'trick-or-treat'

And get some candy

The kids get tired

Candy bags heavy and full

Ready to go home

Halloween is Different Now Haiku

Kids trick-or-treating

Going around in costumes

Where are the parents

Cops must ride on bikes

Just to control the heathens

The few ruin it

When I was younger

I went out with friends that night

No parents were there

No thieves were thought of

No predators to hunt us

All was in good fun

Halloween Time Haiku

There are many ways

To celebrate Halloween

Children and Adults

The weekend before

Are fall festivals galore

Clean fun is for all

How about adults

They seem to like to dress up

Halloween contests?

What about parties?

Nothing like hiding yourself

Ultimate disguise
