The college of culinary arts offers a variety of campuses and courses to help you achieve the professional career you desire. When choosing a school it is important to consider a number of factors including offerings and tuition.

What The College of Culinary Arts Can Offer

The College of Culinary Arts offers four full campuses that offer a number of organizations and activities like any major college or university in addition to academic programs that will prepare you for a successful culinary career. Campuses can be found in Providence, North Miami, Denver and Charlotte.

Students at the College of Culinary Arts have the opportunity to earn an associate and a bachelor degree in a variety of majors. An associate degree can be earned in 2 years; a bachelor in 4 years. Associate degree candidates can chose between a major in Baking and Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts. Bachelor Degree students have the following major options: Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Culinary Nutrition, Food Marketing, Food Service Entrepreneurship and Food Service Management. Students have the opportunity to study abroad through a culinary international exchange or a term abroad co-op where they will gain a cultural understanding and experience in their culinary education.

The College of Culinary Arts develops their own curriculum that they call DACUM. Industry leaders help develop the curriculum by identify what skills and techniques are needed to create chefs who are able to step above and beyond the classical culinary experience. Labs are designed to offer hands on experience allowing students to practice techniques, instead of taking a demo kitchen approach. The labs have the best quality equipment and supplies and average 18 students, to allow for a personalized experience. Additionally, The College of Culinary Arts offers unique Career Management Courses which will help you explore available possibilities, sharpen your job search skills and prepare for your career.

Tuition

Tuition for all colleges is $19,875. There are additional general fees, room and board, and optional meal plans that will vary based on student's choices. Continuing education credits start at $134 per quarter credit and vary based on level and program.
