College Football Week 4 Best Bets. The best bets on the board for the fourth weekend of college football. Here are the College Football Week 4 Best Bets:

After a shaky first week I went 8 for 12 last week (66%). As things start to shakeout predictions get a little easier to make so here's to repeating last week's 66% winning percentage.

Now for the picks:

SOUTH FLORIDA -13.5 over North Carolina

South Florida went into Auburn and won at a tough place to play for their last game. North Carolina is no Auburn and they have the game at home. South Florida is also well rested after a weekend off. Unless this is a letdown game, South Florida should cover.

LOUISVILLE -37.5 over Syracuse

Louisville will set out to destroy the Orange after their loss at Kentucky last weekend. Syracuse is no match for Louisville defensively or offensively and Louisville will look to get the bad taste out of their mouths with a huge victory.

Illinois +3 over INDIANA

Illinois is a much better team than people give them credit for and they will go into Indiana 3 point underdogs, but they will win the game outright. Illinois will overpower Indiana and win this game on the road.

TULSA +20 over Oklahoma

Don't sleep on Tulsa. One of the picks to be this year's sleeper Tulsa has the weapons t at least keep this game respectable. Of course I feel Oklahoma will win in the end, but 3 touchdowns seems like too many. Tulsa is too good to be getting 20 points in this game, Oklahoma or not.

Florida -21 over MISSISSIPPI

Mississippi is awful this season and Florida should wipe the floor with them on Saturday. Florida whacked Tennessee last Saturday and Mississippi isn't half of what the Volunteers are. The only thing that is a concern is that road SEC games are hard, but if Florida truly feels they are a national title contender, they will crush Mississippi.

NEBRASKA -21.5 over Ball State

Nebraska will look to show they aren't as bad as they looked on Saturday night against USC. Nebraska has been home all week and they will welcome Ball State to Lincoln. Ball State is hardly a force and Nebraska will take the frustrations of last weekend out on them.

CENTRAL FLORIDA -7 over Memphis

Central Florida is a quality football team, just ask Texas. Memphis just isn't any good and Central Florida will get their first win in their brand new stadium..

Georgia +3.5 over ALABAMA

Alabama is good, there is no doubt about it, but Georgia will get this game to a field goal. SEC games are hard fought and I see this game being won by either team by no more than a touchdown. I will take the +3.5 with that in mind.

Kentucky +6.5 over ARKANSAS

Kentucky showed that they are going to be a team to be reckoned with this season. They may not win a ton of games, but with Andre Woodson they will keep them close. I just feel that 6.5 is too many points to give Kentucky, but Arkansas will have something to prove on the road.

CALIFORNIA -17 over Arizona

California will open their PAC-10 schedule at home against Arizona. Arizona does not have the firepower to match Cal and the Golden Bears will run away with this game.

New Mexico State +17 over AUBURN

Auburn is really hurting right now and they would like nothing better than to blow out New Mexico State at home. While Auburn will win the game, New Mexico State is too quality a team to lose by that many points. I will take the Lobos and the points.

UL-LAYFAYETTE +10.5 over Troy

The Ragin' Cajuns record might not show it, but they are a quality Sun-Belt team. This game will be much closer than 10.5 points, especially since the game is in Lafayette. Plus how often can you say you're betting on the Ragin' Cajuns?

USC -24.5 over Washington State

USC will open its PAC-10 schedule at home against the anemic Washington State. If you saw what USC did to Top-15 Nebraska on the road, than why wouldn't you take the Trojans in this one?

WISCONSIN -8 over Iowa

Iowa is so bad that they lost to Iowa State, and believe me that is bad. Iowa's premier win this season is against Syracuse and that doesn't say anything. Wisconsin will kill Iowa at home for their first Big Ten win of the season.

Purdue -14 over MINNESOTA

Just like Iowa is bad, Minnesota might be even worse. Purdue is a good looking team this year and Curtis Painter will light up the scoreboard in the dome. Take Purdue minus the points.

Oregon State +11.5 over ARIZONA STATE

Oregon State and Arizona State are probably pretty comparable so why is one team getting 11.5 points? I will take that to the bank anyday.

Washington +6 over UCLA

Washington is a great team this year under freshman quarterback Locker. Even though they lost to Ohio State pretty badly, UCLA is no Ohio State. I will certainly take the points and the promise of Locker.

STANFORD +16.5 over Oregon

On paper Oregon should blow out the Cardinal, but I see some improvement in Stanford under first year head coach Jim Harbaugh. I think this one could surprise some people and Stanford will keep this game close until the end, keeping it within 16.5 points at home.
