College Football Scores 2010; College Football Scores from Thursday Schedule

2010 college football scores from the first day of the season were interesting. These 2010 college football scores included the Pittsburgh vs. Utah game and the debut of the 2010 Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Hurricanes. Though there weren't too many competitive games, the excitement of the 2010 college football schedule is here, and eight games were played out on the first day of the season. Most of the NCAA college football schedule will play out on Saturday, but Thursday's schedule gave television viewers a first taste of what is to come this season.

Four ranked teams took to the field on Thursday, but the early 2010 college football schedule was not kind to No. 15 Pittsburgh, which was upset in overtime on a field goal by Utah. Then there was Terrelle Pryor, who began his Heisman Trophy run by helping crush Marshall 45-7. Pryor went 17-25 passing with 247 yards and three touchdowns on the night. Ohio State running back Brandon Saine went for 103 yards on the ground with two touchdowns of his own. In Miami, it was wide receiver Leonard Hankerson that came up huge for the Hurricanes. Hankerson had 115 receiving yards on six catches for two touchdowns in the Miami win.

The 2010 college football season is just getting started, but the excitement from Thursday night is just the tipping point for what could be a great season on the field.
