You need to make places for all the stuff that your children had taken to the college dorm rooms during the last fall. One of the easiest ways to solve this problem is to rent a place. If you are lucky, you might get a place for rent inside the school campus only. These items can be accommodated inside your garage or basement. You should keep all those stuff in a single place so that you do not have to labor much when you search for a particular item. You must clean all your appliances before storing them. During summers, if you don't clean and dry up the mini refrigerator and microwave properly, they will start stinking. You also need to laundry the beddings before storing it away.

Lofting of dorm beds are sometimes allowed to the students in some colleges to give the students ample of leg space inside the room. But before the end of the semester, the lofted bed needs to be disassembled. The students are provided with tools to do this. The bolts and screws can be stored inside a zip lock bag. Once the bed is disassembled, make a plan to get rid of the bed quickly and to gather important stuff that is required for the next year.
