College Students Are Becoming STUPID Each Year with Very Little Common Sense!

Phillip W. Chambley
"It's truly amazing how many modern day college graduates can't even multiply 12x12 without using their cell phone calculator?" Most of them will say? Math was never one of my best subjects all through school. In other words? If one of these college graduates goes into a convenience store and the clerk decides to be dishonest and "cheat them!" simply because they do NOT know how to add and subtract! They are completely "screwed!"

Common sense will tell any daily 2009 American consumer(s) that a loaf of bread, a bottle of water and a small package of gum does NOT cost $10.95 here in America. But ironically these college graduates are actually "Stupid Enough" to pay this price for these (3) three items to the clerk, because they are lacking in everyday common sense that all human beings in modern society needs to learn anywhere in the world! (Try testing these college students on everyday common sense and you will be amazed at their stupidity?).

"Okay! Good simple everyday consumer common sense questions?" especially for these four or six year college graduates? If one of your vehicle tires are low in air and NOT flat? Should you put more air in it by yourself? Or just simply cell-phone call triple A motor service and hang around for a couple hours or so, even though the air pump is right down the street one-quarter mile at the store? Or even a simple question like? Which boils faster? Hot water or cold water from your household sink?

"Most of them will say? I have never really thought about it?" Because I never cook over the stove or the oven. "I always eat out!" Or simple questions like? What natural satellite in the sky causes the ocean tides to rise each and everyday all across the world? Why do leafs fall during the fall as opposed to the springtime? What simple factor causes gravity in our universe? What does the word "velocity mean in plain English?" Why does heartburn medically speaking seem to get worse while a human being is lying down flat? Should patients with stomach ulcers eat spicy foods?

Unfortunately, modern day college students are only learning and somehow "memorizing" exactly what it takes to pass each exam for the "U.S.A. college money and fun" because the U.S.A. government is paying them hundreds of dollars each month to go through school each and everyday. Most of these college students have also figured out a way to "Never pay this money back!" Which they seemingly have become year after year experts learning during their "memorized" college exam education.

Most modern literary college students will even simply analyze this article/title and never figure out the TRUE substance or meaning of this personal opinion statement? Simply because they have only learned and memorized what it takes to pass all of these daily college exams, "without thinking for themselves" apparently for monthly government monetary reasons? Now days, this seems to be the easy way out of working for a living in American society if you can speak and read plain English for any age or race!

"What if? The math, English or even a science college professor decides one day to give these students a simple common sense exam on daily activities in their everyday life? Would these modern day American college students honestly pass this exam? "What would happen if they actually failed regarding simple spelling words like "there and their in the English American language? What do these two math figures add up to? What is 50+34? "It's a simple math question? Answer it very quickly? You have 3 seconds to answer or you will NOT graduate!"

You would be amazed at how many college graduates of any age, race, creed or color here in America does NOT know the answer to this simple math question without using a calculator or cell phone! Or the synopsis of this simple written literary article? In other words? What is the true deep meaning of this simple article and title mean to you as a four or six year college graduate? "What does it also honestly mean to you as a daily product consumer/purchaser in life?"

If needed too as college graduate? "Would you honestly be able to pass a daily common sense exam?" After listening too (4) four to (7) seven years of lectures from your college professors and also memorizing these test and or answers? Knowing that these people over the years never actually taught you how to change a "simple vehicle flat tire in an emergency?" Or whether or NOT the convenience store clerk was actually cheating you because of your loss of simple math?

Thanks for reading,

Phillip Chambley.

I like the one which boils faster hahaha! Well spelling proficiency has truly deteriorated. It's like a "virus" spreading to most students. It's also happening here in the Philippines as I get to meet them almost everyday during class.
