The experienced and entertaining guides add their river experience and local knowledge to make it a fun and educational trip. Blazing Adventures offers trips on three Colorado Rivers, The Roaring Forks River, Colorado River, and Arkansas River.
Inflatable kayak rides also known, as "Duckies" are also available. They got this name as an explanation of how ducks learn to swim by following their mother. The theory is the observation one can take the best route without being an expert. The inflatable kayaks are very stable and easy to master. Many of the rivers have sections perfect for these flotation devices.
You can also experience the Rocky Mountains as you enjoy the Blazing Pedals Bicycle Tour. If you are a beginner or intermediate bike rider you can enjoy an easy downhill cruise. This cruise takes you through the scenic Maroon Bells Downhill and Ashcroft Ghost Town. If you want a more challenging ride the Rio Grande Trail goes along the Roaring Fork River in Aspen. It is on both paved and unpaved roads. The Snowmass Divide Ride takes you along meadows and forestlands with views of 14,000 ft peaks.
The Blazing Adventure Jeep Tours takes you into breath taking mountain terrain. You will get to go places many never see in these rugged but comfortable off-road vehicles. You can explore the Aspen Mountains on the Gold Hill Tour or take the Elk Camp Wilderness Tour and enjoy Snowmass. The Lenado Tour goes through Woody Creek and historic Lenado. If you want a tour high up in the mountains take the Taylor Pass Tour.
Blazing Adventures also has a Sunset Dinner Excursion for an evening of Colorado mountain fun. It all starts with a four-wheel drive tour in one of Aspens most scenic areas and ends with a full course dinner. The mountain trip takes you to the secluded and historic Burlingame log cabin that sits along the majestic Mt. Daly. There are individual and group activities there. You can play horseshoes, play Frisbee or take a long hike along the many scenic trails. When the sun goes down there is live music and good food.
If High Altitude adventure is what you crave try one of the hot air balloon flights. There is no better way to see all the scenery of the Rocky Mountains than from a hot air balloon. There are flights every morning at sunrise. Your balloon trip will end with a 200-year old tradition of champagne upon landing.
