Allen Bell
In Lake George, Colorado, you will find a unique guest ranch that was established in the 1800's when "gold fever" was running wild in the region. There are still many reminders left from that era such as abandoned cabins and mine shafts that you can still see when visiting Tarryall River Ranch. Today it is one of the most visited guest ranches in Colorado.

All the guest accommodations are just a short walk from the dining area. Each has a large deck area for relaxing and taking in the mountain scenery and fresh air. They are all well decorated with handcrafted items and local antiques. Most cabins are two bedrooms with private bathrooms. Some cabins have adjoining sitting areas that are great for large families vacationing together. There are many other amenities located close to the cabins such as a game room, heated pool, and hot tub.

Meals at Tarryall River Ranch are prepared with great pride by the kitchen staff. Most everything is made from scratch especially the assorted bake goods. Many meals include steak, chicken, turkey, and fish with a wide assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables. There is also a cookout almost every day.

Families on vacation will really love the children's program at Tarryall River Ranch. Kids love the horses and the petting zoo. There is a unique jungle gym along with a heated pool for the kids to play in. There are two optional programs geared for 3 to 5 year olds (Broncbusters) and 6 to 11 year olds (Wranglers).
