You are in Colorado Springs and you want to get your car detailed or washed. You really don't want to wait around in some boring waiting room while it is being done. also you are getting hungry. So what can you possibly do? Well you can drop by The Hub Colorado Springs car wash and diner combined.

Enjoy a great meal while sitting next to a wall mural paying tribute to the great Route 66 in this 50's style diner. Great food with a great atmosphere. Whatever you order it will not lack in taste or portion size. You always get your moneys worth here.

Kids are never left out at The Hub. The children's menu has items such as PB&J's and grilled cheese. There are also kid favorites such as mac and cheese, chicken strips and hot dogs. They will also love the jukebox and the atmosphere.

Breakfast is available all day at The Hub. Many great breakfasts are available. The Route 66 Hub Favorite includes two eggs any style, hash browns, toast and choice of ham, sausage or bacon. If steak is more your taste the Flash Cadillac is a breakfast steak and two eggs cooked your way with hash browns and toast.

Lunches at The Hub are special also. The homemade soup is always hot and ready. A couple of The Hub's homemade lunch specials are the Road Runner lightly breaded chicken tenders served with your choice of a side and sauce. The Sedan thins sliced roast beef served open face with mashed potatoes and vegetables is another great choice. The El Camino is a bowl of chili with beans that includes chopped onions and cheese served over your choice of tortillas or crackers.

Make sure though you don't completely fill up with your meal because they also have fantastic deserts. The Hub's Dreamsicle is made with fresh orange juice and ice cream. You can also try the Hub Root Beer Float made with creamy vanilla ice cream and root beer. The Hub Sundae is big enough for two to share. It is topped with chocolate syrup, nuts and lots of whipped cream.

Let's not forget about your car. Your vehicle has a great menu also when it comes to detailing and washing. The Hub Supreme includes Car Brite interior dressing to dashboards, door panels and center console. It also includes leather treatment to all seats and backs. The Route 66 including undercarriage cleaning, rust inhibitor and triple foam waxing. These are just a few selections.

The Hub Detail and Wax services leaves your car looking great inside and out. A appointment for full services is needed. It takes around four hours where you can drop it off or relax in the diner. Wax is removed by hand with a static cloth. The wheels are polished along with all the chrome.

On 4/16/11 I took my 2006 Jeep Liberty in to be washed and detailed. When the jeep was done and returned to me I found that they had punctured a very large hole in to the passenger seat. I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty right away. He took pictures and told me that he would review the surveillance tapes and speak with his employees and promised to call me Monday before 11 am after speaking to ownership. He failed to call so I call and spoke with him at which time he said that they were not responsible for the damage. I spoke with Michelle and she basically said the same thing and would not take any responsibility for the damage done to my jeep. At that time she also stated that she would also review the surveillance tapes and speak with employees and call me on Tuesday. She also did not call. Shows me how concerned this business is to the customer. My suggestion would be to never go to this place!!!!

The Hub does CRAPPY detail work. What they do, I could do at home by myself and not shell out darn near 50 dollars. Last year, they used dirty water and ruined my carpets on the inside. I got out more with resolve and a Mr. Clean Eraser. They leave dirt when they detail your tires and use NO elbow grease. I can wipe it with my fingers and it comes off. The Chrome looks like crap with spots all over and a cloudy film and the side mirrors have a ring of spots and grime where they wiped and didn't clean the whole thing. I have given them numerous chances over the years with new management and their work is simply half-arsed..
