In Colorado Springs, as in other towns, there are many places to eat. If you are interested in Sub Shops, Colorado Springs probably has some of the best.

Of course everyone knows about Subway, of which there are many here in the Springs. However, if you are looking for something other than Subway, here are just a few great places to get a sub sandwich or other deli yum-mies.

My favorite place of all to enjoy great deli food in Colorado Springs, is S.S. Subs. They have several locations across the Springs and they are absolutely the best. I go to the location at 2821 E. Platte Ave. S.S. Subs has fresh salads, freshly made soups, quality cold cut sandwiches, hot sandwiches, kid's nutritious meals,mini sandwiches, party subs, specialty sandwiches, and submarine sandwiches. They also have delicious homemade cookies. Everything is fresh and tastes fabulous.
They offer party platters and group orders at fabulous prices. With summer coming, this is a great time to try out S.S. Subs for your parties. It is obvious to me, after several visits, this is a business with owners(each location is a franchise with separate owners) who are dedicated to great food, exceptionally clean locations and the best customer service in town. Looking for a great lunch spot...this is the place...Stop by and check them out!

Another local favorite deli/sub shop in Colorado Springs is Trivelli's Hoagies. Located at 2729 N Nevada Ave Colorado Springs Co 80907. Phone Number is 719-471-7733. Trivelli's is a one of a kind place. This is the corner deli/sub shop that only has limited locations, but should have 10. They have a menu of wonderful, fresh, sandwiches that not only can you order large quantities, but you can get your lunch delivered if you are within a few miles of their N. Nevada location. Trivelli's carries sandwiches such as "The Rock Star". This is Ham(Capacola), Salami, Provolone Cheese with all the fix-ins that go with this sandwich. Peppers, lettuce, tomatoes!..Yummy! The sandwich at Trivelli's that I personally love is the Italian Steak. This is a wonderful sandwich. Grilled Steak, Provolone Cheese, Marinara Sauce and Parmesan Cheese! If you are on the Briargate side of Colorado Springs, you want to check out Jason's Deli. What a find. Jason's is a part of a nationwide chain, but they are the type of place that just wants to serve great food. Located at 7455 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, Co 80920. Phone Number is 719-302-0235. Jason's has everything from sub sandwiches to pasta. They are home of the "Muffaletta". This is their version of a grilled sandwich. Made on New Orleans style Muffaletta bread, slathered in Olive Oil and filled with most anything. Jason's is not only very delicious, it is very fresh. Everything is made fresh and tastes fantastic.
