North Fork Ranch sits on 520 acres of mountain land at an elevation of 8100 feet. To the west of the ranch the Continental Divide with its 14,000-foot snow, capped peaks can be seen. The ranch sits adjoined to the Pikes National Forest, Lost Creek Wilderness, and Mt Evans Wilderness compounds.

North Fork is a family owned vacation ranch. The home atmosphere and great staff makes this a fun and relaxing vacation spot. The ranch is located a little over and hour from Denver and two hours from Colorado Springs.

They offer a wide variety of lodges and cabins so everyone can find a great fit for their needs. The lodging options range from one-bedroom suites to three bedroom family units with vaulted ceilings and stone fireplaces. All suites and cabins have private baths and beds that go from king size to twin beds. Each cabin also has a unique view of the surrounding wilderness and mountain scenery.

The Wilderness Lodge has six comfortable suites. These suites are made for couples or families of three. They are located near the main dining area. The décor of this lodge is western. It is also available for small conventions or meetings.

The Stonehenge lodge was originally built as a private mansion into the surrounding hillside. The lodge has several private porches that give a spectacular view of the ranch itself and the Platte River Mountains.

Meals are served in the main dining room located in the Wilderness Lodge. There are occasions when meals are served outside as cookouts or on trail rides. Special diets can always be accommodated if the staff is notified before arrival.

Activities at North Fork Ranch include horseback riding for all skill levels, hiking, fishing, rafting, and a wide variety of things for even the youngest family member to do. The staff is trained for fun and of course safety. If activity is not what you are looking for and rest and relaxation is there is a heated outdoor pool you can soak in while taking in the mountain scenery.

Also included in their program is sight seeing and shopping trips Breckenridge, the Alpine Slide, and a trip to the South Park City Museum. If you are into hunting or shooting you can take advantage of the ranch's target shooting, archery and skeet shooting. All equipment is provided.
