Colton's Steak House and Grill in Marion, Arkansas

My wife and I ate at Colton's on 21 December 2010. We showed up at the restaurant around 6:30 PM and we did not have to wait at all. The address is 303 Angelos Grove Blv. and it is in Marion, Arkansas 72364. Their telephone number is 870-739-1900. It is located right off Interstate 55. Take the exit for Hwy. 64 / Military Road and Colton's is located directly across the road from Auto Zone. Wendy's and Zaxby's are also in the vicinity.

The decor revolves around the Old West and Cowboys. There are deer heads and kettles among other various relics. It has a very rustic and log cabin feel. We received very good service the entire time we were there. Our food was delivered in a timely manner after we had ordered it. Our drinks never go too low.

I ordered the Montana Burger and my wife ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad. She ate most of her salad but she stated that she had had better at other places. My Montana Burger was very good. You could choose from three different kinds of cheese and it also came with lettuce and onions. In addition to all of this it also came with fried onion strands (skinny onion rings). The side item that came with the burger was fries. The fries are not your typical fast food fries. They are pretty thick. I was only able to eat half of my burger but my wife loved it and finished it off for me at a later time. Another great thing about Colton's is that before your meal is brought to you, you get all the peanuts and rolls that you can eat. The rolls are hot and served with butter. They are not quite as good as O'Charley's but they are a close second.

The total cost of our meal was $22.00. The salad was $9.29 and the burger was $7.59. Tax was $1.81 and we tipped $3.31 for a total of $22.00. I would definitely recommend this Colton's. Our meal was delicious and we received very good service. We will definitely be visiting again.
