Columbus lost another genius
when Jerry was killed by a hit and run driver.

Jerry never had a car,
which was for the best, I guess.
He was a genius,
another in the town's long line.

We spit them out
every few days.

Self-proclaimed
and otherwise.

Jerry would ride his bike
up and down the campus strip.

He was also always drunk,
and he drifted softly into traffic one night
and, well,
Columbus lost another genius.
