Yogi Teas Entice You to Relax and Enjoy
Frustrated by teas lacking much flavor? I was - until I sampled Yogi tea. My current favorites: Tahitian Vanilla Hazelnut and Mayan Cocoa Spice. Just one acronym sums them up: OMG!
Imagine vanilla combined with hazelnut, then skillfully blended with warming spices such as ginger, clove, cinnamon, and cardamom. These spices form a traditional Ayurvedic blend, which both cleanse and warm you. Perfect for a wintry day!
Did you say you wish you could enjoy chocolate flavor without the calories? Your wish has been granted in Mayan Cocoa Spice Yogi Tea! You'll enjoy the same spices as in the vanilla hazelnut blend, but instead of vanilla and hazelnut, you'll taste true essence of chocolate.
My other favorite varieties of Yogi tea include Himalayan Apple spice (redolent not just of apple and spices but also of peaceful pear) and Rooibos Sweet Peach (which is, pardon the pun, truly peachy!).
If you ever have an upset tummy or other digestive miseries, you might want to try the Ginger blend as well. It's been long known for its therapeutic benefits for problems such as nausea and indigestion.
Celestial Seasonings Teas Step It Up with Antioxidant Power
I've been familiar with this brand of tea. New to their line, though, are three intriguing flavors that contain an increased amount of flavonoid antioxidants and also additional vitamin C. They all have green tea in them as well as the fruit flavors described below. Green tea has been shown to have multiple benefits in medical studies.
Blackberry pomegranate is ideal for those of us who love a burst of berry flavor. The pomegranate adds a pleasant tartness.
Blood Orange Star Fruit tastes as exotic as it sounds. Try stirring in a spoonful of honey if you experience a sore throat: it's soothing and the sweetness is perfect with this flavor.
Dragon Fruit Melon is the third new wellness tea with increased antioxidants. This variety seems to taste more like green tea than the other flavors, so it's perfect for those who savor the unique flavor of green rather than black tea.
For those who can't handle the caffeine: you can have your green tea in a decaf version by trying out new Sleepytime Decaf Lemon Jasmine Green tea. In addition to the traditional "Sleepytime" ingredients of chamomile, spearmint, and lemongrass, you'll taste lemon jasmine, which adds a tasteful tang to the brew.
