Come Aboard to Docker's Restaurant in Branson, Missouri

While traveling to the Branson area, you will see a restaurant everywhere you turn. Going off the main strip of HIghway 76, and onto Green Mountain Drive, you will find Docker's Restaurant. This is no ordinary building and is in the design of a stern-wheeled steamboat.

Docker's opens their doors at 7:00 a.m. for their breakfast buffet, and close their doors around 11:00. They do have reasonable prices for their buffets, but the reviews vary greatly.

On the breakfast buffet, you can find scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast, waffles, biscuits and gravy and a variety of meats. You will also find a variety of fruits and desserts. They do have a large variety of food, and their price is only $3.99. Depending on what you pick up, some of the food is great, but other items tend to be bland and lack taste.

The lunch buffet is $5.99 and the dinner buffet is $9.99. If you choose to include the seafood buffet, the price would be $13.99. Items included with the seafood buffet are crab legs, shrimp, lobster, catfish and trout. As with breakfast, there is a variety on the buffet, but some might suggest that you take a look at the buffet items before making your choice. An alternative would be to place your order off the menu.

Some specialties for Docker's Restaurant include wedding receptions, seating up to 250 people, private parties and post-show gatherings. The restaurant does provide a nice atmosphere and something people young and old can appreciate.

Our family usually goes to Docker's for the breakfast buffet. We try to go as soon as it opens to avoid the crowd. If you show up after 8:00 a.m., you might find yourself waiting in a long line, that backs out into the parking lot. It is a popular eating establishment for many people.

We have never tried ordering anything off the menu, so I am not familiar with the quality of food. However, if it is similar to what is on the buffet, you will probably need to add some seasoning. It is nice to have the variety of food so it gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy something they want.
