Enjoy nature hikes in beautiful Washington Park while recycling crafts and learning how to save the planet. On Sunday, April 19th, Peter Dubois who is also known as the Recycle Man teaches kids how to battle waste and litter. All Ages are welcome. Although most events are free with a small admission charge of 8 bucks, there is an extra charge for some of the crafts.

The Oregon Zoo has a party for the planet or should I say Mother Nature. Games, crafts, and information about keeping the planet healthy. All ages are of course welcome. Free with admission of 9.75 for adults, 6.75 for kids age 3-11 and free for babies 2 years or younger.

Run through part of Cook Park to celebrate Earth Day on April 25th. Registration at 6:45am. The 10k starts at 8am, the 5k and doggy walk start at 8:15am, kids recycle race for 4-12 yr olds at 10am. Take a break with music and snacks at 10:15am. $35 per person. Kids recycle race is free
