The Amica Insurance Tall Ships Rhode Island 2007, New port Rhode Island give you a choice of a two day or four day summer escape weekend. There will be all classes of tall ships from the USA, Germany, New Zealand, Great Britain, Indonesia, Bermuda, India, The Netherlands, Canada, Brazil and Columbia. In addition to being able to escape to tour the ships, there will be a picnic, entertainment, fireworks and competitions between the crews. The dates are June 27 - July 1, 2007.

The Secret Gardens Tour of the Mansions of Newport Rhode Island is a three day event where you can go out on your own and escape to the gardens of the most famous Newport Mansions. This is something you do not get to do at any other time and makes for a nice rest full weekend escape, a bit of peace and quite before the rest of the summer activities. The proceeds go to funding arts programs in the public schools of Rhode Island. So in addition to having a great time, you will be giving the children of Rhode Island a chance to appreciate art. The dates are Friday - June 15, 2007 12pm to 5 pm Saturday - June 16, 2007 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday - June 17, 2007 10 am to 5 pm.
