Come to Your Senses! Do You Hear Me?

Jenny Heart
Researchers have been studying how the phrase,' coming to your senses,' can help people through everyday struggles in their life. Some days a little come to your senses practice session may prove most beneficial.

Think about how different textures feel. Smell as many fragrances as possible. See all that is before you. Think about the rainbow, and how this is a promise for brighter days ahead. The concept of coming to your senses is one all people have heard from time to time from people that they know.

The next time you feel stress or just need a little break from your everyday life, reach out to all your senses. Your senses are ready to assist you, if only you reach out and touch, feel, smell, see, hear, and think all about them, and then all their possibilities are within your reach.

Maybe:

Touch a flower, and smell it.

Watch a sunset

Watch the clouds move, the raindrops fall. Then, feel the quite peace once the rain has stopped. The senses you use from these actions can literally ease what maybe troubling you.

The past is past; however the grieving process must follow only by your steps. All of us grieve differently. The next time you know someone that is grieving let them feel you are beside them like a guardian angel. Then, one day they'll have completed their grieving process, and will be ready start over. Why? They just came to their senses. They weren't afraid to feel anymore. There senses were cleared.

Never hurry grief! Joy will then be part of your life because coming to your senses never felt so good.

I was inspired by my daughter's counselor. She knows she is grieving, and helped me understand more about it. I came to my senses, and could understand what these words really mean. I went home from this session, and looked up come to your senses researchers and this link was one of the choices. Watch this whole video. After a short period, it looks like the tape is over, but there's more to come. Watch this video, and get ready to be amazed.

The powerful message within this video is on bridging techniques. Watch, and learn something new.
