Come Together

Richard Spall
Over the weekend, something occurred which was quite historic. Shock waves were felt around the country. Though many still do not know what it all means and how it will turn out, many people were overjoyed, but many others were heartbroken and hurt. This affected nearly everyone in the country, and may have a significant effect on the short-term finances of many citizens. The landscape has been dramatically altered.

But this may not be an entirely bad thing. Now there is room for the "little guy", and opportunities for them have multiplied almost overnight. Some may say that gone are the days of self-reliance, but I think we can all still come together over a few beers to see this thing through. This may be a momentary setback, but I would guess that we are all in the same boat.

In the end, so what? Kansas lost and now you think you'll be lucky to win any cash at all in your pool. No need to shout "Bracket killer!" out at random people. It's not the end of the world.
