The Swampfest in Land O Lakes will offer the benefits of a carnival and festival like any other. There will be carnival rides, a Mid Way and many more activities for all ages. Schools in Pasco County will be selling tickets to the Swampfest.
Food from vendors will be available at the Swampfest and along with food; there will be plenty of exercise with the Distance Track meet. If you are not into showing off your running shoes on the track, then perhaps bring your dancing shoes to the Swampfest for some good ole dancing. The Swampfest will be hosting several genre of music, so all ages are welcomed to come out and support LOL High.
If you do not have dancing shoes on, then sweeten up your vocals and try some singing at the Swampfest. The Swampfest begins this season on November 6 and runs until November 8. You cannot miss the spot where the Swampfest will be held; it is on the main street of Land O lakes, which is U.S. Highway 41 (or Land O Lakes Blvd, at the Land O Lakes Community Center. Although, you may think you will be in the middle of the swamp by the name Swampfest, you are actually on dry land. Land O Lakes is surrounded with wetlands; this may be the reason for calling it Swampfest. Bring your mosquito repellent just in case.
The Swampfest is a rather new but is gaining popularity among many such as WWE stars making appearances in the WWE Superstars of Florida Championship, which include both men and women wrestlers. Check out exciting videos from previous Swampfests. In addition, Dance theater shows will be available from local schools. Car shows have also been known to show their support at the Swampfest. As the word gets around town and more notoriety is shown the Swampfest is taking off and support is coming in. The Swampfest is still accepting vendor applications, if you want to show support or show off some of your goods, you are welcome to fill out an application and help make this event grow!
