The Funny Bone - Popular comedy club with three locations in Pittsburgh, PA
The Funny Bone may be the most popular Pittsburgh comedy club. The original Funny Bone is located in Station Square in Pittsburgh. With its downtown Pittsburgh location, surrounded by many restaurants including Pittsburgh's acclaimed Grand Concourse and near the Pittsburgh Incline. Funny Bones, Station Square can be the perfect place to head for some after dinner entertainment.
Pittsburgh's Funny Bone has two other locations. Pittsburgh Funny Bone North is located on Sheraton Drive in Cranberry, PA. The newest Funny Bone location is in the Radisson Hotel in Greentree, PA, just a short drive from the Pittsburgh Airport. The Funny Bone's Greentree location offers a dinner and show combination for $39.95. Tickets for most Funny Bone comedy shows run $15, which is not much more than tickets to a movie. Reviews for Pittsburgh's Funny Bone comedy club have been mixed, with a few complaints that some shows are too vulgar. My advice is to check this Pittsburgh comedy club's website before visiting in order to find out who will be performing. Like any live performance venue the performance is only as good as the performer.
Pittsburgh Improv - Popular Pittsburgh Comedy Club on the Waterfront
Pittsburgh Improv is a cozy, little comedy club located in the popular Waterfront entertainment complex in Pittsburgh, PA. At the Pittsburgh Improv there are comedy shows every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. You have the option of dinner and show packages at the earlier show each evening. Those who choose to dine before the show are given priority seating and requested to arrive one hour prior to the start of the show.
The Pittsburgh Improv attracts some nationally recognized comedic talent. Upcoming shows include comedians Vinny Fasline, Charlie Murphy and Justin McKinney. Tickets (not including dinner) range in price from $10 on up, depending on the show and time. The Improv has a great location and is surrounded by many Pittsburgh restaurants.

This Pittsburgh comedy club offers "open mic nights" for those who wish to try their comedic talents in front of a live audience. Open mic nights are held on Thursday and Friday evening at 9:00.
