Comet Multi Surface Spray Cleaner

I have tried a great assortment of household cleaning products. Until recently I had never encountered a multi-surface cleaner that I was really disappointed with until I purchase Comet multi surface spray cleaner. I will acknowledge that I only paid $1 for a 22 fluid ounce bottle so it was not a huge waste of money.

I have used the standard Comet powder cleaner for many years, and it has always done a great job in my bathroom as a cleaner. I expected that Comet multi surface spray cleaner to provide satisfactory results. Comet multi surface spray cleaner is intended for use in areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and use as a cleaner for basically any surface except dishes, windows and assorted glass wear. It is supposed to be a one step spray cleaner and deodorizer. It has a pleasant lemon breeze fragrance, I did enjoy that aspect of it. Comet lemon fresh multi surface spray cleaner does clean grease and grime very effectively, it is great in the bathroom as a multi surface cleaner, but there was one factor that overshadowed the great scent and effective cleaning power... the residue left behind after use. It is very much as you would expect from comet cleaner I guess. This product is not a one step cleaner as the label advertises. It is a two step minimum, but sometimes you have to use a wet cloth three times to completely remove the gritty in texture and white in appearance residue that Comet lemon fresh multi surface spray cleaner leaves in its wake. In my opinion, this cleaner is not a great buy because the amount of effort that goes into achieving the clean you desire is not worth the savings.

I will continue to use Comet powder cleaner in my bathroom, specifically my toilet, but I don't plan to purchase Comet multi surface spray cleaner in lemon fresh fragrance again. I was disappointed in the end result this multi surface cleaner provided me. When I clean something in my kitchen or bathroom I do not want to find a filmy white residue on the recently cleaner surface. I would not recommend this product to others who are seeking a one step, spray and wipe clean style cleaner. However if you are looking for a new version of Comet for cleaning your toilet you might be interested in trying this product out.
