The way animation is displayed, involves use of Macromedia Flash, and Adobe Flash in combination with several frames to depict characters talking or motion (say opening a door) or running from an evil villain. In the midst of all the action, one can post common cartoon bubbles or even large rectangles to describe all the ensuing action.
Now, most of us who start with "Hypercomics" or the similarly successful "mashon.com" comic publishing website may only wish to share the writings with a select few. For those who want broader appeal, he or she can use the "HyperComic" browser to navigate other writer's works and publish to the entire world-wide net community. Do no expect immediate Google search terms to point to your creation, as linking search words to a "Flash" creation will only occur if the title of your work creates a substantial internet impression via popularity or marketing via network sharing sites.
Now, what exactly is "Mashon?" Mashon, in effect allows you to create a comic from your internet browser - using Firefox or Internet Explorer. After collaborating or going solo, it allows for templates so one can write and share digital media into a truly great piece of art. So can you use Mashon to create greeting cards or thank yous? Certainly, but why waste one's talent when you have the full breadth of the site at your disposal? re-engage in your youth, by creating games you used to play or start some creative piece of historical fiction. The important thing to remember is to save your work and not to take copywrited material without referencing sources.
Granted, posting your home-made art requires use of "comic book creator (see links accompanying this article)," but in the end the artist should understand that the minimal fee for buying this creator is well worth the cost, as the standard site templates only include childish, campy pictures. My suggestion, is that both artists and writers do a substantial amount of work outside the application, prior to publishing. By application(s), this means "Comic Book creator" and "Hypercomics." Adobe photoshop, or even Windows Movie maker will suffice as media creation tools. To really enjoy your creations, consider actual friends or families with humorous settings or traditions centered on the background. If you have posted any work, please let me know if you ran into any problems or have tips to share. Good luck and welcome to your new art landscape.
