We all know Ms. James as the 35th District's vibrant councilwoman. But what is "The Stars of New York Dance?'
It is one show with one goal with three events with 10 dancers performing as five duos competing for five prizes with two opportunities for you.
What! OK, let's break that down a bit.
One show with one goal: To bring the arts to at-risk children
Three Events: Cocktail Reception, Dinner and Dance Competition, and Post Dance Party
Ten Dancers: Five "star" volunteers from the community and five folks from the world of dance
Five Duos: Each star will partner with a dance professional, perform as a duo, and be judged
Five Prizes: 1st Prize: $5,000, 4 Prizes of $1,500 - Everyone is a winner and all the money goes to help the children. Find more details here.
Two Opportunities for You: You will enjoy a great time while bringing the enjoyment and enlightenment of the arts to children at the same time.
So, if you enjoy dance, care about the children who are our future, and the future of our communities, then "The Stars of New York Dance" is an event for you.
We make a difference in this world one person at a time. This event, Clinton Hill, is one of those times.
"The Stars of New York Dance" is coming soon. The final details are in the works. Keep checking here so you don't miss out on your chance to make a difference. The world will only be what we want it to be if we make it so.
Can't make the show? Your donation is most welcome.
Till next time, Clinton Hill.
