"Commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established" (Pr. 16:3).
I think Christians are sometimes guilty of having a defeatist attitude about life and ministry. This is a shame, because with God on our side, it is not necessary to have a pessimistic view. All things are possible with Him! He is a powerful, loving, heavenly Father, who desires the best for His children and He promises to work all things together for the good of those who love Him.
Of course the fulfillment of the proverb above requires doing work and making plans that can sincerely be "committed to the Lord." Our efforts and prayers must be consistent with what we know about God's character and will.
With that in mind, let's commit ourselves to King Jesus and trust that He can help us accomplish great things for the glory of the Father! We can have victories against sin in our lives, people can be saved, and plans can work out. Thus says the Lord God Almighty, "Your plans will be established!"
God does great things all the time. It is easy for Him!
