Acne is a common little annoyance that most of us experience at least some time during our life. But acne on your chest, or chestne, can be downright embarrassing. Chestne effects both men and women whether young or old. Normally chestne is caused by the same factors that cause face acne: clogged pores, stress, diet, hormones or genetics.

By determining the cause of your acne, you can find a cure that is specially made for your condition. If your chestne is caused by clogged pores try a cleansing product made for removing oil from the skin. A good product that works well for blackheads as wello as clogged pores is Blackhead Scrub, available where most lotions and beauty products are sold for under $6.

The only way to eliminate chestne caused by stress is to get rid of the factors that are causing your stress. If this is not possible an alternative is to practice some kind of stress relieving technique that will calm you down inside and out. Meditation, yoga or even a relaxing bath are all successful ways to eliminate and deal with day to day stress and save your skin. Some of us over-eat when presenteed with stressful situations and this is generally when chocolate comes into play. Chocolate is not good for the skin or the body. Too much chocolate can cause high blood sugar and even a diabetic coma in those that have not been tested for diabetes.

The hormones that trigger acne are prevalent in women during their menstrual cycle. Most women have some form of break out, or acne, due to the change in their body's level of hormones. Keeping the skin clean and oil free during this time is a good prevention for any kind of acne. Avoid wearing any tight fitting clothing that can trap sweat and hold it against the skin. Also avoid any type of lotions, oils, powders or perfumed sprays to keep chestne to a minimum. These types of beauty products can also irritate the skin causing excess redness in addition to acne.
