How it spreads
Flu or influenza is ( due to bacterial pneumonia) spread from one person to other by air that is, when a person effected sneezes, then tiny droplet spreads in air and if a health person breathes or comes in contact he may also get Flu.
If a heathy person uses the same towel or cloth that a diseased person has used, Flu can spread.
Symptoms
Influenza or flu's common symptoms are acute sneezing, high fever, headache, running nose or stuff nose, cough, body ache.
Treatment
Influenza or Flu is diagnosed if the above symptoms are seen and the treatment is antistamines, Nasal drops to clear nose, Analgesic for controlling high fever as well as body ache, antibiotic , Vitamins C & B complex combined should also be given in parallel to other medications.
Side effects
People of high risk group ie, age group more than 65 years pregnant women may develop asthma, chronic medical disorder like bronchitis, heart complication etc. Children and adults may develop sinus problems and ear infections, including bacterial pneumonia, dehydration.
Flu vaccination
There are two types of Flu vaccination, they are: a) The flu shot b) The nasal-spray flu vaccine. In India to protect you from any respiratory aliments people eat Chyawanprash with one tea spoon of honey every day and Vitamin C one tab every day.
So as the winter seasons nears start taking precaution by avoiding infected person not using their cloths and taking Vitamin C one tab every day. Eat plenty of Oranges which provides Vitamin C.
