Please talk to your doctor before beginning any type of exercise program. They will be able to evaluate your physical ability to complete a routine safely and answer any questions that you may have.

I do not have time

The average American watches about 5 hours of television a day. You could be using that time to fit in some exercise. If you worked out as well as you watched television you would be sure to be in great physical shape. Now you should never overdo your work out about 45 minutes five times a week is more then enough for the majority of people out there. Make sure you drink plenty of water and hold your stretches properly.

I'm to tired

Try exercising when you first get up in the morning it will help to get your blood pumping. It will wake you up enough just give it a chance to become part of your routine. The more you exercise the more muscle strength and endurance you will have to make it through your day. If a half hour seems long try to take a break in between for stretching. You can always exercise in increments of 15 or 20 minutes if you are feeling unmotivated.

I do not have a gym membership

You do not need one! You can walk, run, jump, lift and do sit-ups with out expensive equipment. You can invest in a small pedometer and wear it when you are out the more you walk the better you will feel about taking some extra steps during your day. You can take common household items to compensate for the lack of equipment. Use the stairs instead of a stepping block. Looking for a good cardio workout with out equipment is easy since you can just turn on your radio and start moving around. Boxing also burns many calories, and if you are just punching the air who needs gloves? Now there are some new studies out that show that even doing household cleaning over a long period provides our bodies with a great workout.

I get bored easily

Try mixing up your fitness routine every couple of weeks, if you want to try a little yoga you should go for it. Variety is the spice of life. If you start losing your momentum, try recruiting a friend to exercise with, or bring the whole family along. You need to take care of yourself and stop making excuses!
