While countless individuals lay victim to the unscrupulous companies claiming meritorious products that promote fat loss in the body, no one can really sustain and guarantee rapid inch of fat loss without bringing in adverse effects that can necessarily harm the body in the end. The government works to inhibit the production of drugs that provide harmful effects to the human body after necessary scientific testing that eliminates the possibility of reckless side effects. The sad fact is, drugs that work faster on fat loss are common drugs that inhibit the production of needed hormones in the body. When these hormones are inhibited from production, the effect is faster elimination of unwanted fat cells that aid in the production and multiplication of fats and cellulites. The prevention of hormone-production later produces unwanted effects on the rest of the system especially as the rest of the body is deprived of its necessary hormonal needs. We have heard of countless deaths and hospital admissions relative to the ingestion of certain oral vitamins and tablets that proved harmful to the body.

In 1973, the European salons first describe deposits fats found on the thighs and buttocks on many women as unsightly cellulites. New York salons described that "fats gone wrong," are composed of toxic wastes that the body has failed to eliminate. Anti-fat products sold through retail chain outlets included endorsed loofah sponges, cactus fibers, creams and gels to supposedly promote fat loss. Vitamin supplements containing minerals and herbs, has cashed in on the fight against the unhealthy and supposedly "deadly fat". Several muscular stimulation, hormone and enzyme injections promoted treatments that actually cost hundreds of dollars.

Recent research revealed that certain characteristics in the skin make women prone than men to develop cellulite. Further, this research revealed that there are no significant differences in the appearance or function of the fatty tissue to the blood flow between affected and unaffected sites within individuals. Other myths include the promotion of body wraps that employ lotions and creams applied to the skin and get dressed up in body suits may drain the fluids in the body through perspiration and compression will soon be replaced by drinking or eating.

Another negative attitude myth will allow one to eat an unhealthy meal or miss another workout and compensate by diminishing the food content or starve on the next meal which is very unhealthy for the human body for it deprives the body of the necessary minerals and nutrients for optimum functioning.
