Communication

A Process

Tussy
Communication begins when we are born and continues throughout our entire life. It is a carrier of the social process. It is necessary to establish social ties, which knit people together in reciprocal relationships, and ensure human cooperation. Without communication, no thoughts will ever be expressed, nothing will ever be written, and no problem will ever be solved. It is an essential component of a social process. It is a process which makes interaction within humankind possible as well as enables men to be social beings. It is an effective way by which a human being influences another and is influenced in return.

The ways to communicate may be direct and personal, as when a mother talks to her child and vice versa. It may be indirect and impersonal, as when one goes online to chat or went on TV to announce something.

Communication is the life blood of society for it sustains all facets of human endeavor which are important for its existence - government, religion, politics, education, law, business and technology. Without it, man will still be primitive because no social organization will be possible. Communication is also necessary in our conflict laden; weird wild world for it is a means of resolving conflict in itself.

To communicate is essential but far from simple, hence, miscommunication between couples happen and communication gap between parents and children exists.

To eliminate communication barriers and communicate effectively, one only has to remember that we are given two ears, so as to listen more and only one mouth, so as to speak less.

If only mankind will listen more and speak less, communication as a process will become less complicated, and the entire world will be in harmony and a little less noisy.
