Communism (Obama,Biden) or Democracy (McCain, Palin)?
Today, that prosperity has come under intense scrutiny by Barack Obama and Joe Biden who are advocating for change that mirrors the doctines of communism and socialism, according to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, John McCain, Sarah Palin, and countless others. This was clearly revealed sometime ago when a concerned citizen and taxpayer approached Obama asking him about his economic plan and how it would affect his ability to be successfu in his own plumbing business.
Obama praised him for wanting to be successful, but believed he should not be very successful while others are struggling to achieve their own success. In other words, it is perfectly acceptable to have a successful business, but it should be illegal to have a very successful business that wants to grow, hire more workers, expand its services, build more offices, and hopes to bring additional revenue to the local economy. In a few words, Obama said that we need to spread the wealth around and make the playing field more fair. After hearing his response, that plumber was astonished and afraid to pursue his dreams if Obama becomes President.
Is this the type of change we can believe in? Is this the direction we want America to travel in? While it is certainly true we face unfairness in our lives, we must always remember that being successful in whatever we do requires us to be patient, persistant, courageous, be a risk taker, etc. When we fail in our efforts to reach our goals, it is incumbment upon each of us to stand up and keep trying, and not to look at another's success with an evil eye, such as Obama and Biden continue to do.
I encourage every voter, especially Christians, to think carefully about this issue and to think twice before casting a vote for Obama and Biden to be the next President and Vice-President of the United States of America. Whether you believe it or not, your choice does indeed make a difference, whether for good or for evil.

Ira, your article is very good and very true. Carol how old are you or how many presidents she has lived under? I was a child when Pearl Harbor was attacked. If President Roosevelt had of acted the way so many of you think George Bush should have acted when we were attacked on our own soil what do you think would have happened in this country? I thank God everyday that George Bush was our president on 9/11. Perhaps you haven't noticed that for over 7 years we have not been attacked; try and remember how many times a terrorist attack has been stopped before it happened, thanks to the wisdom of George W. Bush. If you think you may have lost a freedom under the Bush presidency just wait until Obama is president. Think about this. Good article, Ira. I feel that you should not judge one person by what the previous person did simply because he has the same political label. I always look at the person who is running and not who preceded him because each person has his own way of carrying out decisions made. Anyway, the President of the US is only one person. Our democracy is lead by a Congress (Senate and House). These are the people who vote on policy. Also, in our country UNLIKE so many others, older Americans with experience and wisdom are often bereted because of age. Guess what...anyone who does that is coming right along behind older folks and will suffer from illnesses by no fault of their own unless they die. Some day they will be the "older folks." Let's see how they like being looked down upon. As for thunderbolts...those are under God's command and those who are the evil among us still receive God's grace and are still standing as He sees fit.
