Whether you are looking to obtain a two-year degree, continue your education, or simply take some fun classes to improve your talents and skills, Flathead Valley Community College offers many wonderful courses to fit your needs.

Kalispell is a fairly small town compared to most parts of the world, so we only have one Community College available at this time. Flathead Valley Community College, or FVCC as it is known, is located on the outskirts of town, with easy access in and out of the campus. Located directly on Highway 93 South, you are in very close proximity to Starbucks, Costco, Home Depot, a few small strip malls and a variety of restaurants. The physical address is as follows:

Flathead Valley Community College offers a wide range of programs including Allied Health, Business and Technology, Career and Technical, Humanities, Math and Science and Social Sciences where you can obtain an Associate of Arts, Associate of Applied Science, or a Certificate of Applied Science degree. They also offer Continuing Education Classes, Workforce Development, Senior Programs, Elderhostel, and online courses as well. You will find a vast array of both credited and non-credited classes at FVCC.

Tuition at Flathead Valley Community College is charged on a per credit basis, and depends on the student's residency. In-District pricing is the lowest available, starting at $124.00 per credit, and goes up depending on where you live. In-State (but out of District) is $173.00 per credit, and Out-of-State is $379.00 per credit.

There is a one-time application fee of $15 (degree only) and additional lab fees or late registration fees are charged as is appropriate to the class or the circumstance. Late registration fees are $40.00 and are charged to students who register or add new classes after the third week of the semester.

Flathead Valley Community College has a wonderful Transfer Program, as well as a Four-Year Partnership Program where students can complete a bachelor or masters degree without ever leaving the valley. This partnership includes the following universities:
