* Remember that burning in portable fireplaces or fire pits outside is not allowed; however, residents can do outside cooking and grilling using charcoal, propane or natural gas for fuel. Residents can call the Fire Department at 248-246-3800, during normal business hours, if they have any questions concerning the outside burning ordinance.
* Severe weather sirens are tested the first Saturday of each month. The testing takes place at 1:00 PM. Siren testing does not occur during the months of December, January, and February because of winter weather conditions.
