Community Organizer - A Bad Thing?

Republicans & the Mainstream Media Should Be Ashamed

Luke Wilson
I did not know being a community organizer was a bad thing. Almost a dirty word if you let Sarah "hang'em high" Palin tell it. I was shocked by the smugness of this woman.

She should be ashamed of herself. It speaks volumes about her and the thousands of people who cheered the remarks, it also says a lot about the so-called media that refused to call her on it.

This has nothing to do with Barack Obama, this is about the thousands of people who work everyday giving of themselves to others then to have this hayseed coming out of nowhere mocking them and the work that they do. I thought America was better then this.

I thought that was what America was supposed to be about, yet they mock it. Barack made one remark that got taking out of context ,maybe he shouldn't have phrased it the way that he did, but the fact of the matter is people are bitter and people do tend to move toward things that make them feel more comfortable when they feel that way.

The media jump all over Barack Obama for the comments. It went on for at least a week if not longer, but here you have this extremist Governor who supported Pat Buchanan of all people slamming community organizers and there isn't a peep it's sad.

Community organizer work day and night on the behave of other people, to give high risk kids a chance at a better life, make elderly people lives better, move people off of welfare into jobs, and the list goes on. For the media not to call her or the McCain camp on it shows just how low we fallen.

I watched the Republican Convention last night I know that there would be a little red meat thrown out for the base that is what they do on both sides, but last night the Republicans just went below the belt.

It is the same play book every four years scare Americans into voting Republican. Watch tonight-today is 9-4-08 and I'd bet my life's savings that all your going to hear tonight is how we need to be afraid of terrorist, how the threat is around the corner, divisive scare tactics.

The economy will be glazed over (no real plan) health care glazed over (no real plan) social security glazed over (no real plan) the only real plan is the same plan we have been living through for the last eight years (Bush's plan).

I would like to think that John McCain is a good man; he seemed to be before he started running for President. Sarah Palin I am sure is a good person as well. She went out last night and gave her base what they wanted to hear, but what does that say about the Republican Party if all they have to offer the people of America is a load of Negative half-truths, and no plan for the future.

I can't end this without mentioning Rudy, the so-called America's Mayor , well...on second thought my mother always told me that if I don't have anything nice to say to just don't say nothing, so I'll leave it there.
