Comparing Farmville to Farm Town on Facebook

Joe Simon
When you're playing Farmville or just looking for some Farmville tips you'll notice that there are some differences when comparing Farmville and Farm Town. In fact there are some very noticeable differences that actually affect game play making one more interesting that the other usually. When playing Farmville on Facebook you can have animals and grow some crops, buy decorations and farm equipment. On both farming games you will see this is the same. However on Farmville you can harvest from your animals as well as your crops and trees and on Farm Town you cannot. The animals are there but they will produce nothing for you to make money out of.

A lot of people will opt out of using farm animals on Farm Town because of this only reason. When you compare Farmville vs. Farm Town you will also notice that in Farm Town you have the option of live chat and interaction with other players, Farmville does not offer this at all. This is a great way to earn more coins because you can go and hire people to do your farm work for you such as harvesting and you will earn more money this way. It is also a great way to increase your neighbors and friends list on Facebook as well as the game itself. Over all both of these games are a real hit for Facebook and the Farmville official site as well. There also seems to be more sites that talk about Farmville secrets and tips as well as some Farmville tricks.

But when you look at each of the games you can see that even with the differences each game still offers some nice game play. In fact right now both games offer holiday decorations and limited edition items that make the game more enjoyable. When comparing both Farmville and Farm Town and what they do and do not offer the main differences is in the animals and the farms trees and creation. The trees in each farm game will produce marketable goods but their rewards are very different. When it comes to the creation of the farm it's very noticeable as well that in Farmville your farm develops quicker and in Farm Town it takes a little while and more work to get the game really moving along. Even with their differences both games have become a very big hit in the social networking world.
