CompUSA Stores in Hawaii Will Be Closing Their Doors February 29
Neighborhood: Pearl Highlands
Pearl City, HI 96782
United States of America
Currently, you can see people standing outside both Hawaii Stores and their near by cross streets boasting their "40-60% off Going out of Business Sale". They are not only selling the last of their merchandise, they are also selling all of their store equipment including everything from their shelves to printers to opened CD-R spools.

I visited the Pearl Highlands Store this past weekend & was amazed at how empty the store is. I was there a few weeks ago and in that short amount of time, the store has been gutted out. For example, the previous time I was there I was looking at getting an internal Lightscribe drive. There were stacks of them, so I figured I could always pick one up before they close at the end of the month. It was a good thing that I went this weekend, because I got the last one!

40-60% off is a great deal when you consider the more expensive items like PCs, laptops and expensive software. However, 40-60% off of anything is better than paying regular price. For example, I bought my son the NCAA 07 Football game for his PS2 at the Pearl Highlands location and only paid $7.00. The internal Lightscribe drive that I purchased was only $46.00. I also got a 50 pack of DVD-R double sided discs for $14.00.

They are currently running out of a lot of merchandise, but will still remain open until the end of the month. The Pearl Highlands store still has PC's, laptops, TVs and other high end merchandise. It seems that the more inexpensive items are what people are buying up in this sale. If you are looking for those types of items, they have a lot of laptop bags, computer and camera accessories as well as printers left in the store.

For those of you who have a business or are about to open one, and need shelving, chairs, lighting or other fixtures, they have a lot of those items left also.

According to Foxbusinessnews.com, CompUSA's 103 stores, nationwide, were purchased by an affiliate of Gordon Bros. Group, LLC which is a restructuring investment firm. The CompUSA website is now advertising their "President's Day Sale" until Feb. 20th but says nothing about closing down their stores.

If you have a chance, go down & check out the CompUSA stores before they close. You have until Feb. 29th. There may be something that you needed or wanted but couldn't find the right price that you could now purchase for 40-60% cheaper!
