Con Man

Jacqueline McCray

My heart is possessed by a swindler's charm

Ring the alarm before I go too far.

Infectious passion that beguiles to harm

Which brazenly guides to a lasting scar.

Anguish disrupts an exuberant soul

Once my love is exposed as a con man.

O, should have appointed rigid patrol

To impede the dark whisper's cunning plan.

My abdomen erupt yellowish stuff

Once I realized your love was not there.

I refuse to accept sudden rebuff

Because my heart is trapped in your snare.

Tears flow dramatically like a waterfall

Once I realize our love was full of gall.
