I had purchased a large hairdryer a couple of years ago and noticed my arm hurting afterwards and that it didn't dry my hair as fast as this little hairdryer. I have long hair, to the middle of my back. It is somewhat thick and takes a long time to dry.
I usually let my hair air dry for a while, then I blow it completely dry with my Conair 1875 compact hairdryer. It takes a shorter time for my hair to dry with this hairdryer than any other hairdryer I've ever used. It has a cooling button so that you can use a cooler setting.
The Conair 1875 also has a low setting or high setting depending on how much heat pressure you want to dry your hair. I use the high setting because it dries my hair faster. It doesn't do much damage to my hair like other hairdryers that I have used in the past on a high setting.
A few of my friends have borrowed my Conair 1875 to blowdry their hair and asked me where I purchased it so that they could buy their own. They really liked how small and compact it is. They also said how it really works good at blowing their hair dry in a decent amount of time and works better than they had expected for being a little hairdryer.
I am very satistified with this hairdryer and would buy another one if mine blew out. It is also good when you are going away on vacation because it is compact and folds so it fits neatly in your suitcase and doesn't take up much space.
My mom likes hers too because it is compact and doesn't cause strain on your arm like a larger hairdryer, but yet it still gets the job done! You can usually find it in stores or online for around $20-$30.
