His new late night show "Conan" will debut Monday night, at 11 pm on TBS. That's right, not on NBC or Fox, but TBS. Team Coco will follow their leader wherever he may go, because of his humor and ability to make a joke about anything, even himself, that makes him the true king of comedy. His off-the-wall comedy is super-charged by his oddness, and his comic genius.
"Conan" will be back with star guests, monologues, and sketches that only he can pull off. Conan is loved for his off-the-wall sense of humor - that catches comedy at it's very best. And he equally makes fun of everyone -including himself. His irrelevant brand of humor has changed comedy in significant ways.
Yet, there is still a line in comedy that he doesn't cross. He can find humor without nailing anyone to the cross to do it. And that's what allows him to stay at the top of the league above other late night comedy hosts. The line may be invisible, but it's there. He maintains a sense of "self" and doesn't spit vile comments just for the sake of doing it. And that's just one thing separating him from the rest.
Team Coco, all the way - find TBS on your local cable provider. Be sure to tune in to "Conan" tonight at 11 pm on TBS.
