Wiggles Concert Review
The Pop Go the Wiggles Live Concert is a great show for young children. The concert lasts approximately 60 minutes and features all the Wiggles and all the Wiggly dancers and characters.

Try to get to the concert venue at least 30 minutes early, if possible, so you can purchase your souvenirs before the show. The Wiggles light-up toy is a popular and is used during the sky "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." However, these toys cost about $15 each so be prepared to spend some money if you have multiple children. You can also buy individual character toys for around $10 as well as Dorothy tails and hats.

This concert featured songs from the Wiggles latest CD entitled "Pop Go the Wiggles! Nursery Rhymes and Great Songs" as well as some classic favorites like "Fruit Salad" and "Hot Potato!" We watched the Wiggles perform "Fruit Salad" in both English and Spanish. Watch for the fruit basketball game!

The stage is beautifully set with a colorful castle and a blue sky painted background. The background changes as different light effects are projected onto it throughout the concert. Remember to pay close attention to the rope that is hanging from one of the castle's turrets because a favorite character will make an appearance using that rope!

The Wiggles once again bring high-energy to this concert series. Children become immediately engaged with the songs and are encouraged to dance, clap, and wiggle around.

At one point during the show, bubbles are blown out to the children in the immediate stage area. The kids absolutely loved this part and continue dancing and playing for the remainder of the show.

Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, and Captain Feathersword all make appearances during this concert. Captain Feathersword, in particular, has some very funny bits that will delight the parents as well as the children. Watch for the Captain's act as a duck - your little one will be roaring with laughter!

Sam Moran does an excellent job as the yellow Wiggle. Anthony Field, Murray Cook, and Jeff Fatt return as the blue, red, and purple Wiggles. Jeff does his sleeping routine throughout so the children shout "Wake Up, Jeff" whenever he starts to snore.

We had a great family afternoon watching the Wiggles perform the Pop Go the Wiggles Show. Children younger than 12 months old can sit on your lap, and we did see many sleeping infants. However, children older than age 2 seemed fascinated by the entire performance and an hour is just the right amount of time to keep them entertained without losing the child's interest. After the final song, colorful confetti is blown into the audience.

I just saw them in Ottawa on October 26th and I think I loved it more than my daughter( and she loved it)! Fantastic show, high energy and a little something thrown in intermittently for the adults (Stairway to Heaven was my fave!)

Great article. My neighbor has little ones who love the wiggles. I myself find them kinda scarey.
