Absence of proper protection causes not only the creation of babies that are not wanted, but also spreads venereal diseases. According to recent studies, each year roughly three million American teenagers are infected with an STD that currently has no cure, and this statistic does not even take into account the curable STD's that people do contract which cause much pain, embarrassment, as well as psychological trauma.
The solution I wish to offer is at least one contraceptive distributing machine in a public restroom at all of the high schools in your district. At first the idea may come off as shocking but with knowledge of current trends and the problems that afflict today's teenage youth, the solution begins to become more plausible. Many teens are too embarrassed to purchase contraceptive devices themselves, and installing a contraceptive distributing machine in the restrooms would curb occurrences of venereal disease as well as unwanted births. The sooner these machines are implemented the less the children will have to suffer.
Your first concerns may be that of the public image of the school plummeting as it starts to become a place reminiscent of strip clubs and gay bars. This fear, however, is unfounded as if one were to look at a wider scope, they would note that a large abundance of other (more moral) businesses have them, such as show venues, international airports and family restaurants. Another concern would be money, prices could be regulated so that the school does not lose any many at all with the installation of the new machines. Knowing all of these facts how could one not take this small step to save and uplift the lives of many teenager's in our area.
It would be to my delight, as well as many others, if this matter were to be addressed by the solution that I have offered you. I cannot express how much I wish to thank you for your time in the reading of this.
