Confessions of a Stressed Out Mom!

I'm jumping up and down more than my kids... because there's no school Wednesday! Whoooopieeee! And echos of "Oh my Gawd!" (In my best valley-girl voice.)

I got so much work done. The boys helped me wrap all of the Christmas presents except their own. Huge project done.

I got all of our photos in the Christmas cards and addressed and ready to go. A big undertaking!

Three o'clock and dinner isn't started. I am picking up and have my hands full. As I'm doing this I decide to make a phone call. (My usual 20 things on my mind at once.)

Hmmmpfff...phone isn't on the charger. I push the button to make it beep so I can find it.

Beep beep! Oh, it's on the kitchen table. Nope. I hear it by the microwave. Nope. Cock my head like I am hunting for my prey as it's beeping away...it's by the oven. Still NO! I'm literally running in circles like a dog chasing his tail.

One of my boys walks by who is seven. I frantically plead, "Help mommy find the phone, please!!"

He gives me a crazy, "Are you kidding me" look. Huge grin. Wide big eys.

"Mom! It's in your hands!"

At this point my eyes got wide.

They're coming to take me away ho ho...hee hee....ha ha...
