I'm done feeling sad
And I want you to know
I know that you were into me

I can feel it in your smile
And the way you walk
It's easy for others to see

I may have been a fool
Way back when
I'm begging you to understand

I made a few mistakes
And I'm trying to make amends
I'm pulling my head out of the sand

With a little bit of patience
And a whole lot of luck
Together will be fine

The way we hold hands
Makes me feel grand
And your style is simply divine

I'm gonna compliment you
On your savoire faire
On the things you say when you let your guard down

I want to let you know
My confidence has grown
And it grows stronger, whenever you're around...
