Confidence in Ashford University

I have never had more confidence with my education than attending Ashford University. Ashford University is located in Clinton, Iowa, and also offers degree programs online. I have been pleased with them since the very first phone call.

I contacted over thirty schools when I was dissatisfied with the one I was attending at the time. Most of the school representatives sounded as though they were reading a script, and did not have answers to many of my questions. I had several of them act rudely when I said I was not interested in them anymore. One of them hung up the phone angrily. My representative at Ashford University was sincere and informative from the first time we spoke. She guided me through all my questions without hesitation or transferring me to another department. Within three days I was able to submit my application, learn about the degree programs, choose my classes, submit my financial aid, transfer my credits, and gain confidence in my education.

This seemed too good to be true. I felt that this must be just in the beginning, and I would need to prepare for when I became just a number. I was wrong. The week prior to my first class, my enrollment advisor sent me an email with a checklist to help prepare me for my class. Then once a week during my first class, she emailed me a note asking if I needed anything or had any questions. My academic advisor sends me an updated degree audit after every course I completed. The communication is phenomenal.

I have access to all my educational information online. I can see a report of my transcripts anytime I choose. I can view classes that are scheduled, future requirements, and my completed classes. I can view my tuition status and payments online. There is a section that lists all my personal educational contacts, phone numbers, and links to send an email. I am pleased that I do not have to call a main number and wait on hold while I get transferred several times, searching for the correct representative. I have never had to wait more than 24 hours for an answer to any of my questions.

My instructors teach every class in the same format. Ashford organizes and monitors every course structure. I do not feel nervous when a new class starts. I know how to navigate around my assignments and course guide. My instructors have been knowledgeable and helpful. They have been willing to answer all questions, and act as a guide through the courses. I have been treated as an adult who is serious about improving my career through educational goals.

Ashford University is a wonderful university. They have the education and success goals in mind for all students. I have full confidence that I will be successful because of my attendance at this university. I have spoken with other students who have attended and graduated. They agree that Ashford is motivated to help students complete their degrees and develop their careers. It is refreshing to go to class each day and know that I am that much closer to reaching my life goals.
